Heather was an incredible amount of support to not only my first child but my second baby as well. With each pregnancy i felt like being at the doctors, and being rotated through the practice just wasn’t enough information. I never gained a rapport with a single doctor to ask what was normal vs abnormal and feel reassurance. Having heather be able to answer questions and give feedback after my visits helped me ease some stress. My second pregnancy brought on a lot of Braxton hicks contractions for about 2 months long. She was there as my support system though FaceTime and visiting me at home guiding me on positioning and helpful tips to manage the pain. I was lucky to have her by my side with each labor as well. My most recent labor was in September. She was there helping to reposition me, hold my hand during the epidural, giving me guidance on breath work, and helping to explain what i was seeing on the monitor and what the next steps were to get the baby out safely. I was able to get out of my head and trust she knew the process. She is calm, knowledgeable, caring and amazing to have during pregnancy, labor and post partum. I could never imagine birthing another child without her there throughout the journey. Best nurse ever!

I started working with Heather when I was 30 weeks pregnant with my first baby! I was having tons of Braxton Hicks contractions and baby was very low already. I was very nervous that he would come early. Heather helped me immensely along the way with constant advice and recommendations on things to do when I was having Braxton Hicks every 10 minutes. Even though we live in different states, I was texting her the moment I went into labor and throughout the process. She helped explain what was going on and even told me different things to ask my labor nurses for! She is extremely knowledgeable due to her experience as a labor and delivery nurse.
Working with Heather truly made me feel so comfortable throughout the end of my pregnancy and delivery! She treated me like a family member and only had my best interest at heart.

Heather is an instrumental resource when it comes to child birth for both baby and mom.  Her experience and knowledge from being a labor and delivery nurse is invaluable.  When it came to the day of my childbirth I was lucky to have her - she was available and willing to go above and beyond for me.  She gave me a sense of comfort and also had so many tips and tricks and advice on being your best self-advocate with the physicians.  For example, my first was almost a c-section but due to Heather’s guidance and her push to have them check one more time before the OR - they checked and I was fully dilated and could do a vaginal birth.  This is just one example as there were many tidbits of advice!  Heather has a true passion for the mom and baby and her experience and knowledge is not only helpful but reassuring and comforting when taking on such a monumental experience.
